The volcano and the surrounding land are home to 5 different ecosystems thanks to a combination of tropical rainforest mountainous regions, as well as the aftermath of volcanic eruptions that occurred millions of years ago.
Hike the Sendero Los Quetzales, the famous path that crosses the Volcán Barú National Park and connects the towns of Cerro Punta and Boquete. This mountainous jungle is part of the Talamanca mountain range, an interesting geological formation that is home to incredibly rare flora and fauna; the perfect mix of good jungle treks and tropical wildlife.
Haras Cerro Punta is located in Cerro Punta in the province of Chiriquí in Panama. They are leaders in Panama and the Caribbean breeding thoroughbred horses for racing. Haras Cerro Punta, was founded by Don Fernando Eleta Almarán.

Volcán is a corregimiento of the district of Tierras Altas in the province of Chiriquí, Republic of Panama. It was created by Municipal Agreement Number 5 of November 30, 1924 with the name of Barú, which was later modified to Volcán.
The name of the corregimiento originates from the valley surrounded by mountains that is located on the slopes of the Barú Volcano, which is the highest point in the country with 3475 m. Volcano because it is located in high altitude volcanic lands, it has unique tourist sites in the country.

La Barqueta is located about 40 minutes from the City of David. It is the closest beach to the Chiricana capital.
Extensive and solitary beach on the Pacific side of Panama, it is a beach to cover a part of the 15 kilometers approx. which is long, with very clean waters suitable for surfing.
One of the curiosities of this beach is that you have the possibility of seeing a sunrise and a sunset on the same day. On low tide days, you can travel many meters towards the sea without seeming to reach the end.
